Hierbei werden antigengerichtete Ansätze [Behandlung mit Inselantigenen wie Glutamatdecarboxylase (GAD) oder Hitzeschockprotein-60-Peptid (DiaPep277)] von antientzündlichen Behandlungen (Interleukin-1-Rezeptorantagonist, IL-1-RA, Atorvastatin) oder immunzellgerichteten Behandlungen (Anti-CD3, Anti-CD20, Abatacept) unterschieden.

20. On the basis of enzymatically determined blood-sugar levels obtained at the time of the operation in 22 patients with organic hyperinsulinism, it could be shown that even during the operation a significant rise in the blood-sugar level occurred in those where an insulinproducing islet-cell adenoma could be removed by enucleation or by resection of the tail of the pancreas.

Auf Grund der intraoperativ bei 22 Patienten mit organischem Hyperinsulinismus enzymatisch ermittelten Blutzuckerwerten konnte gezeigt werden, daß in all den Fällen es noch unter der Operation zu einem deutlichen Blutzuckeranstieg kam, bei denen auch erfolgreich ein insulinbildendes Inselzelladenom enucleiert oder mit der Pankreasschwanzresektion entfernt werden konnte.
